While COVID restrictions are still in effect, bars and restaurants are still opened and serving thirsty patrons. Which is perfect for this time of year, when the green beer starts to flow! While Grand Rapids usually has a variety of St. Patricks Day events, the pandemic has put a little different spin on them. That being said, bars are open there are a few great events still happening!
BYOBC - Build Your Own Bar Crawl
Create your own St Patrick's Day bar crawl this month! Gather your friends and family, and head downtown with a designated driver. Capacity is at 25% for bars and restaurants, so make sure to call ahead to ensure you're able to get in. Uber and Lyft drivers are also a great option for getting home safely with your group. Popular bar districts include Ionia Street and Bridge Street, and being Beer City USA, there is no shortage of great local breweries, wineries and distilleries to find your next favorite pint or glass.
