Art Installations
We’re proud to present many exciting and groundbreaking art installations, such as Hybycozo’s and Grand Illuminations. These cutting-edge installations are made using physical attractions, light and shadow shows, wowing audiences of all ages. These shows take advantage of perception like few before them, delighting crowds with displays of skill and bravado. Grand Illuminations uses more than ten thousand lights to put on a radiant show of every color and feeling. In addition to these installations, Color the Skyline will have ten-foot-tall inflatable tube men, all colored differently and dancing on buildings all over the city.
Dance in the Annex
Performing near Hybocozo’s and their sculptures is the superbly talented group Dance in the Annex. These performers will be putting on a show entitled “Evolutions on a Theme” which features five transitions and four solos. The theme is movement, which will be explored using sights and sounds. Watch as the troupe plays with light and shadow and incorporates sculpture into their routine. Alongside the troupe will be the dynamic sounds of Pink Sky, a group featured right here in Grand Rapids.
