Calling all Halloween lovers, Grand Rapids has fun planned for you this October! From haunted classics to a spooky night at the zoo, there's something spooky for the entire family to enjoy. Here, the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids listed out some of our favorite events happening this October. Don't forget the candy!

Movies on the Lawn: Hocus Pocus (October 1)

Binx ! Join Circle Theatre and Experience GR on the lawn for a showing of Halloween classics like Hocus Pocus presented in partnership with Wealthy Theatre. Easily walk over from Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown with outside food welcome. Don't forget to dress up! There will be contests and prizes for top costumes of the night. Proceeds from each night will benefit the Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre. 

Geeks Who Drink Trivia (October 6)

Join "Geeks Who Drink" on October 6th at Speciation Artisan Ales for a trivia pub-style quiz! Quizmaster Hayley will lead you on an adventure with topics ranging from celebrities in trouble to wordplay to bad television. Win awesome prizes with your team as you answer over 70 trivia questions in 2 hours. Before trivia starts at 7 PM, grab a delicious burger and appetizers with your friends at Burger Theory. Zoo Goes Boo! (October 15-17 & 22-24)

Looking for some Halloween fun with the kids this October? John Ball Zoo is excited to announce tickets are now available for the Halloween favorite Zoo Goes Boo! The Zoo will again transform into the ultimate Halloween destination with decorations, costumes, candy, and, of course, the Zoo’s amazing animals. Tradition returns this year with spooky treat stations ready for trick-or-treating located throughout the Zoo. After you're finished at the zoo, make sure to stop and check out Burger Theory's kid's menu to fill their bellies!

The Haunt (October 1-31)

Who's ready to be terrified? West Michigan's "The Haunt" is back and better than ever! Equipped with killer clowns and daunting monsters, The Haunt is the ultimate way to celebrate the spooky season.
