This annual Christmas Tree lighting happens every year at Rosa Parks Circle in Downtown Grand Rapids and is considered the official kick-off to the holiday season! Consider grabbing a bite to eat at one of downtowns fine restaurants! Then bring the entire family to watch the lights go up, then skate away the rest of the night. Who could ask for anything better?
Mid-way through December "The Nutcracker" will take the stage at the DeVos Performance Hall alongside the Grand Rapids Symphony. With sets framed by children's book author and Michigan native Christ Van Allsburg (The Polar Express) this classic tale is sure to delight children and adults alike. December 14th - Breakfast With Santa
Who wouldn't enjoy a delicious meal with Mr. and Mrs. Claus? Breakfast with Santa will be taking place at the Grand Rapids Museum on December 14th during a holiday fundraiser that benefits the programming at the museum.
